Has anyone come up with a clever way to dress up temporary bare-bulb 99-cent porcelain fixtures? or found a [source for] great inexpensive fixture with a shade that works for temporary? we are building a new contemporary/modern home, and expect it to take a good long while before we are putting in any 'decorative' fixtures. Sadly for me, i have expensive taste. In our current house, we had bare bulbs or similar for nearly 10 years in some spots. Frustratingly, decent looking clip on shades for ceiling lights seem pretty much impossible to find. I am tempted to try and make something myself.
